Digital writing (writing crafted with, and relying on digital technology) challenges what we think we know about the world and the way we engage it. In this workshop, you will learn about "digital literacy" and what it means to thoughtfully engage digital writing. This workshop will focus on social media platforms like Twitter and Facebook, and on why effective digital reading (and writing) is essential in a 21st century America where it is part of the fabric of life.

Through this interactive session, you will gain a deeper understanding of why digital writing is different from the other writing forms and see new possibilities for communication and self-expression.

Free and open to the public  |  Space is limited  |  Lunch Provided
You are encouraged to bring a laptop or your favorite writing tool.
