Speaker Bio
Dr. Sun Devil Scholar is a nationally recognized leader in innovation, community engagement, and transformational learning. Serving as professor of interdisciplinary excellence at Arizona State University, their work focuses on student success, inclusive leadership, and research-driven impact.
Throughout their career, Dr. Scholar has collaborated with public, private, and nonprofit partners to advance sustainability, accessibility, and meaningful social change. They have published extensively on knowledge enterprise initiatives and are a frequent speaker on topics including higher education, workforce development, and the future of democracy.
A recipient of numerous awards for excellence in teaching, research, and service, Dr. Scholar has presented at conferences across the nation and around the world. Their work reflects ASU's commitment to measuring success not by whom it excludes, but by whom it includes and how they succeed.
Dr. Scholar holds degrees from the School of Innovation, the College of Global Futures, and the Institute for Sun Devil Spirit. In their spare time, they enjoy building community partnerships, mentoring the next generation of leaders, and saying "Forks Up" at every possible opportunity.
