In this workshop, you will learn how to effectively leverage digital literacies to produce engaging and compelling writing in digital spaces. This workshop will focus on social media platforms like Twitter and Facebook, and on why digital writing is essential in a 21st century America where it is part of the fabric of life.
Through this interactive session, you will gain a deeper understanding of why digital writing is different from the other writing forms and see new possibilities for communication and self-expression.

Computers will be available, but you are welcome to bring a laptop or your favorite writing tool.

The Arizona Center is located on the corner of N. 3rd and E. Fillmore Streets. For driving directions, click on the map button below and then select "Directions," or contact our office.
The workshop room is located on the 3rd floor of Arizona Center and can be accessed from the elevators facing AMC Theatres and the 1130 The Restaurant. There are also elevators inside the entrance facing 3rd Street (behind the Arizona Center sign, next to Powered Up Nutrition). Signs will be posted to direct you.
Parking:
The Arizona Center has a parking garage located on the east side of the complex, on the northwest corner of E. Fillmore and 5th Streets. The garage is accessible through entrances on E. Fillmore Street and 5th Street.
City of Phoenix metered parking is available on surrounding streets.
Public Transportation:
Arizona Center is accessible by public transportation including light rail and bus. For more information about public transportation options, visit the Valley Metro: http://www.valleymetro.org.
