"The Infiltrators" is a docu-thriller telling the incredible true story of young immigrants who deliberately get detained by Border Patrol to expose the reality of for-profit detention centers in the U.S. Enlisted by the National Immigrant Youth Alliance, a group of radical Dreamers on a mission to stop deportations, "Marco and Viridiana" work to interrupt the system. By weaving together documentary footage with scripted re-enactments in a boundary-crossing new cinematic language, "The Infiltrators" is a suspenseful account of a high-stakes mission and an emotionally charged portrait of visionary youth fighting for their community.

The post-film discussion will examine this journey and use it as a catalyst to explore critical issues affecting Arizona and the nation, including immigration, government actions, and movement building.

Directors Cristina Ibarra & Alex Rivera will join us for the post-film discussion & Q&A
