Racism continues to tax our minds and ensnare our hearts. It’s divisive, malignant, and a threat to the health of all communities. Brown, Black or White, Asian or Indigenous, racism affects us all; yet it is often seen as a singular problem, affecting only the “urban” and “underserved.” These perceptions separate us on an issue that requires our unified attention. To promote justice and engender positive change, we must emerge from cultural silos, learn from each other, and speak the truth about racism.

Join the Healing Racism Committee for this full-day symposiumwhere participants will learn from experts, interact with peers, community leaders, and organizations in the exploration of racial differences and the intersections at which alliances can be forged and leveraged to eliminate racism and promote harmony.
