Family History Writing provides an opportunity to develop tools for writing about memorable family members, places, or events. Presenter Duane Roen discusses the family experiences that offer rich material for writing and shares strategies for beginning the writing process.
Through a hands-on activity, you will respond in writing to a series of questions designed to generate concrete details about family stories and be invited to share your writing with the group. In turn, the group will be encouraged to offer constructive feedback that will help you further develop your writing.
