Do you want to learn more about how to chronicle the lives of others?
Do you want to explore the illuminating historical resources that you can use to develop even more detailed accounts of individuals and communities in Arizona?
Join this hands-on workshop in which you will start to research and write about the family members, community leaders and memorable Arizonans that you want to introduce to the rest of the world. You will develop some research strategies, explore genealogical archives and with your fellow workshop participants, think about how your writing about Arizona life and history is becoming more textured and powerful.

Computers will be available, but you are welcome to bring a laptop or your favorite writing tool.

South Mountain Community College is located on S. 24th St., north of E. Baseline Rd. The library is on the east side of campus, near the main entrance.
Parking:
Parking at South Mountain Community College is FREE for visitors. There is a small parking lot directly in front of the library and the South Parking lot is short walk. Review the parking map for all parking options. The library is marked as (SMCL) on the map.
Public Transportation:
