Healing Racism Public Dialogue Series
Through the lens of recent events, The People vs. Zimmerman: Race, Symbolism and Violence, will explore racial stereotypes and biases in America from historical and modern perspectives. The community will have the opportunity to dialogue and discuss these critical issues with key stake holders from the government and private sectors in our continued effort to strengthen our citizenship bonds and combat the ever present prejudices and hatred found both domestically and abroad.
This forum is the first in a four-part series during 2013-2014 addressing the theme of Race and Justice.
A tribute will be paid in honor of the September 11th fallen during the event.
Free and open to the public.
