ASU and the Undergraduate Student Government invite you to celebrate Black History Month with renowned director, producer, writer, and actor, Spike Lee.

Mr. Lee is an American film director, producer, writer, and actor. His production company, 40 Acres & A Mule Filmworks, has produced over 35 films since 1983.

Lee’s movies have examined race relations, the role of media in contemporary life, urban crime and poverty, and other political issues. Lee has won numerous awards, including an Emmy Award. He has also received two Academy Award nominations.

Spike Lee will be visiting the ASU Tempe Campus on Wednesday, January 25th at 6pm at the Grady Gammage Theatre. Doors will open at 5pm and ticket distribution will run from 11-4 on Monday/Tuesday (January 23/24) at the USG offices on the 3rd floor of the MU and from 4-6 at the SSV lawn on the day of the event. Tickets will not be available at ASU Gammage. The event is free for all students and community members.
