Join us for a workshop led by Fanshen Cox DiGiovanni creator of "One Drop of Love!"
In this interactive workshop, participants will work to come to a common understanding of current terms and concepts regarding race, class and gender. Participants will engage in creative writing, presentation and complete a short form visual narrative representing their own and other’s perceptions of their intersecting identities. Group discussion will generate feedback that will provide opportunities for future development of a project as well as explore identity, intersectionality, privilege and using storytelling in the pursuit of social justice.

The parking spaces immediately in front of the theater are designated for vehicles with disabled license plates or placards. General parking is available in the parking lot west of the theater, on Washington Street (# 1 on map below). Additional parking is available in the lot on the southwest corner of 13th St. & E. Washington St. (# 2 on map). 
Public Transportation:
The Helen K. Mason Performing Arts Center/Black Theatre Troupe is easily accessible by public transportation including light rail and bus. The venue is located near the 12th St./Washington Light Rail Station (westbound), and one block south is the 12th St./Jefferson Light Rail Station (eastbound).
