Writing Family History decorative image

Writing family history for special occasions

Writing about your family history is an opportunity to share your stories with others. Presenter Duane Roen discusses the experiences that offer rich material for writing about cherished moments in our lives and celebrate special occasions such as birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, holidays, and reunions.

Through a hands-on activity, you will start to write about your family stories and be invited to share your writing with the group. In turn, the group will be encouraged to offer constructive feedback that will help you further develop your writing.

Free and open to the public  |  Space is limited  |  Lunch Provided
You are encouraged to bring your laptop or your favorite writing tool.

*ASU faculty will be on-hand to assist and review any written document.*
