Black Women Walking

Venture back in time to meet such historic figures as Rosa Parks, Sojourner Truth, Harriet Tubman, Mary McLeod Bethune, Bessie Coleman, Zora Neale Hurston, and other heroines of history. Through storytelling, music, and dance, experience the courage, character and brilliance of these women who impacted the American landscape with their powerful journeys toward freedom, justice and equality. Celebrate Women's History Month with a performance of Black Women Walking, at the ASU Kerr Cultural Center. Each performance is followed by a Q&A session.
